Homeownership

At Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity we strive to serve those who would not qualify for a mortgage through a traditional lending institution. Milwaukee Habitat sells the home at no profit, serves as the mortgage holder and provides a zero-interest mortgage to partner families. Monthly mortgage payments are between $475-$600 and include a portion for property insurance and real estate taxes. The principal portion of each payment is recycled back into our program to build homes for more low-income families.

We currently build new construction homes in the inner-city of Milwaukee.
